I remake this toy by adding more 3 shapes which are 1 square pyramid 1 dodecahedron and 1 icosahedron. The idea of this gift is about the shape and transformation of the shape by spinning it.
The child will discover that by spinning one shape and see the shape of another. For example, spinning a cylinder produces a sphere¨ spinning a cube produces a cylinder. A Number of pieces or number of surfaces edges and corners that we hang will affect the shape as well So children will be naturally curious and their discoveries will create a foundation of basic science.
However, this toy is not only about science but it is about art. Instead of using solid shape. I applied it into translucent contour shape and adding primary color into it. So you can see from these models that one has 2 colors. When we spin, 2 primary color mix and we will see blurred hidden color in it.
